I use this blog mainly to keep up with long-term friends, but will also attempt to bring a taste of my new city, Philadelphia, and the beautiful state of Pennsylvania, to the pages herein.

i'm a raving science geek and a recent transplant back to the city of my birth, which i hadn't seen for 27 years. i am fairly liberal in my politics and have a strong interest in environmental policy. i am an adventurer, a hedonist, and a seeker of truth. i love being alive and take every opportunity to relish it.
